Midweek fishin 5th/3

Me and Scano, went for our weekend fish last night.
Mainly went to get extra bait for boat fishin saturday with Bodie.

We ended up going down to a spot where i hadnt been for a while which some of you may know but i dont want to say it on the forum as this spot only has limited room.

On our way there we were that keen to get fishin that we didnt want to go out of our way to get dinner so we stopped at IGA directly next to the location we were going to fish at.

Scano went cold baked beans, i went cold alphagetti and loaf of bread:lol:

After a feed we were ready to fish

Herring were on the bite which was great because they would make great bait saturday

Scano got this mint tailor! I was so sure i would bite through his 8lb line

I hooked one similer size but bit through my leader

Nice pike ;)

we got some great bait now ready for a big dhu :)

Good work Marc and Scano. I have thought of fishing at that spot but as you say there isn't too much room.

I don't know if you are in the area today, but Annaconda are having a big opening sale for its new store in Osborne Park today. I think they have the cookers on special.

Last nights fishing was

Thu, 2008-03-06 14:50

Last nights fishing was absolutley fantastic. That Tailor I hooked gave a great fight on my Bream gear and I still don't know how the hell it didn't bite through my 8lb herring / whiting leader?? There was pretty constant bites throught most of the arvo / night, more than enought to keep us entertained.

Hey Colin, I reckon I might have to go and check out the new Anaconda store and see what deals they are doing on the cook tops. I like baked beans and all but cold straight out of the can is a bit harsh.... hahhahaha

I only hope my fishing luck continues for my maiden voyage to the Abrohlis Islands in 2 weeks time. For the cost associated it better!!!

Good luck at the Abrolhos. Are you going on a charter? If so, who are you going with? I am looking to go there sometime soon.
All the best Colin Hay
