Mandurah help please
We're going down to Mandurah for new year and I hope to get a bit of fishing in.
We'll be landbased and staying at theMandurah holiday village. My parent are visiting from the UK, but my Dad is practically wheelchair bound due to arthritis in his knees.
Would someone be able to point us in the direction of a few fish? I've had a quick look on google and we're close to the south end of Silver Sands, is this any good for Tailor? Also, there is a promising looking jetty for my Dad to use on Breakwater Parade, any info about what we can catch there would be good (Herring etc) and what it would be like to fish there.
If anyone has any other suggestions for somewhere that's still close to the village, let me know, as long as it's not too far away as I've got a few other kids and a wife to keep happy.
Cheers
John

Cheers lads, if it makes it any clearer this isn't on the Dawesville cut (I think),
here's the link

The platform is on the channel side of Breakwater Pde, near the opening to the ocean if you zoom in.
Can anyone tell me where the nearest tackle shop is as well please?

The Dawesville Cut.
Not easy due to blowies, but maybe your dad will enjoy catching a few then watching them swell up as theres no puffer fish in the UK. Special fishing landings both sides of the Cut for PENSIONERS & the blowies know it!
Dont forget the aerogard, Off, or fly veil!
