Howdy Crew,
Just a quick one, headed down to Jurien last Friday for my bday and get the boat out for a day, weather wasnt the best so didnt do too good. But managed to get a trawl in tho and pick a few nice Mackies.
Here are photos of a couple we got, had a few boys come up from Perth as well, they manage to bag 2 the same day and 5 next morning
Hopefully we can get down there again when the weather is a little better

They both took the Halco Pink
They both took the Halco Pink Chrome 5m. We tried King Brown 5m and the Red Neck 8m with no success

ahh bugger!
Nice mackies! we were up there last wed thur and friday, took out the trolling gear but it never made it into the water! after diving in the 3 meter vis each day i figured trolling would be useless! kickin myself now!!! nice fish indeed!

Na not much bottom bouncing,
Na not much bottom bouncing, using plastics and jigs way too much wind drift and swell for that. Hope we can get back there soon with better weather, it looks like it could be an awesome place to catch a few.

its become a realistic day
its become a realistic day trip now with the coast rd extension...if ya dont mind getting up a bit earlier. id rather drive in a car for 2 extra hours for the fishing to be had up there. baldie and dhuie heaven ;)

Well done mate, I keep bypassing those lures but have to get a handful now. Seen good fish on them too often.

Mint can't wait for the weekend. Weather looks bloody good. Bottom bounce and trawl as it looks like a long day to be had.
