going to be the best option but the 260 has slightly better cone angle for out deep and more elements so is supposed to be more sensitive but you have to account for losses going through hull,another thing to consider is do you have room and accsess to fit a m260 they are not small
M260 is definatley a better tranny than the B164, but as Scottnofish suggests, not much in it given hull losses.
My mate just put a B164 in a brand new CC 685 explorer and is happy. If you want to go deeper than 200m, I would got the M260 though. Less than 200m, the B164.

I have the b164 matched to
I have the b164 matched to the 585 in a carribean 26 couldn't be happier. have fished out to 300mtrs still got plenty of power to go.
