Little Sesh from Saturday
Seems like most people took the advantage of the great weather the past Saturday gone and I was lucky enough to hop onto a mate Rob's boat. Sussing out the conditions the night before we decided a gentlemens start at 8.30 ish. 1st spot which we thought was our honey hole Rob pulled a nice dhuie off on a smith. After 3 drifts we decided to push out a little and funnily enough we found our spot that we thought we fished earlier. Turned out a lovely day conditions wise just the heat had us slip slop slapping every 20mins and skulling a truckload of water. No drift anchor needed which is always a bonus.
Day in total i think saw us get like 8-10 fish and my last drop of the day had me lose a biggy but it didn't really phase us. One dhuie didnt release very well despite a very slow retrieve so we drove over to another boat miles away who caught 0 fish and donated it to some pretty happy fellas rather than it being a waste then it was a happy ride home in glassy conditions.
Seem's like its that time of year again where just plain old logic down at the ramp is up sh*t creek. Amazes me how so many people take 10mins or more to get their boats on the trailer when they have more than 2 people helping them. It's a 2minute job for Rob and i :s
Also pretty sure we spotted a big macky in 35m, so i will be giving it a go next time i get out.

Sounds like a good day out. Were those baldies also on jig?
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
