Submitted by timboon on Wed, 2016-04-27 21:47
Gday FW crew,
Just wondering if anyone has bought a light bar recently that works a treat. I know they have come down alot in price so if anyone has bought a ripper at a good price i'd be keen to hear where from.
Cheers in advance,
Tim

I run a rigid e2 20 inch.
I run a rigid e2 20 inch. Cost more than the cheapies but can't fault it.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Hey bud
I was looking a few years back when they were really expensive. I ended up going a really cheap one from an importer. Thinking if I hit a Roo I won't be crying.
Well it's done 3 Ningaloo trips,2 Shark Bay trips and gets used every weekend. It has dropped 4 LEDs and still works great.
I would by a cheapy any day after this one. Still haven't hit a Roo with it yet, but if I do I think I'll handle it ok.

I vote for the cheap eBay
I vote for the cheap eBay light bars, got a 33" 180w cree light bar on the front of my bull bar, had it on the car for 70k km's and havnt had an issue, been off-road with it plenty of times and still going strong. Think I paid about $140 delivered a few years ago, they are cheaper then that now tho. Nice and bright, they are better as a spread beam rather then a spot beam tho.
