Just wondering what all the site users are doing up at this time of the night,work or just sitting around having a few cold ones.myself I'm unfortunatly at work

Going Fishing.
Just woken up and the ocean sounds and looks ideal for a fishing sesh on the Busso Jetty. This is at 2o'clock in the morning. Nice and quiet no hassles so I'm getting my gear together at the moment and heading off but thought I'd check the website first. Be home again by 5 for a sea-food breakfast.

Actually.
It's warmer out on the ocean than on land but a couple of woollie jumpers and a flask of my favourite tipple seems to be the way to go. Cheers.

Just a few herring and a half dozen crabs but what i'm really after is those big pinkies that hit the jetty in 6 metres of water.Some of them go over 15 kilo's. They love live yellow tail. If I get one this year I'll post it so you guys can drool.

Yeah i'm heading down for a few weeks on the weekend. Getting married and staying down there so hoping to hit the jetty up if the new Wifey lets me.
Might have to sort myself a cliff gaff of some sorts by the sounds of it!

Simple solution to getting the new misses onto the jetty for a bit of fishing is to say you want to consecrate the marriage out there . Just be aware of any security cameras or you might end up on" YOU TUBE"

smash, if you need to post a pic another way to try is to upload your pic to a photo sharing website like Photobucket and then copy paste the IMG tag in your comment window and that should work and is prob easier.

Got a busy day tomorrow getting firewood for the elderly all free of charge so i've got to keep my wits about me. Though I love going out on the ocean I also love going bush. Do you fly in and fly out of the Busso. airport Patto?

Yeh a Mate of Mine
A good friend of mine from down this way was working on a gas drilling rig out of Exmouth and flying in and out from Perth airport and he was pretty well stuffed for a couple of days when getting home. You just learn to keep out of his way until he comes good. I should have said a good good friend of mine because he bought himself a $100k plus boat to go fishing and we're fishing buddies so i can get well offshore to do some serious fishing instead of using my little tug putting around in the bay. I don't like to pry Patto1 but do you have a partner and how do they handle FIFO?

Yeh mate wife and 3 young children.they handle it prity good some times the missus has her moments with the kids,butweek on and off good ,I get all week at home with them which is good.i reckon I get more time with the family than I would if I worked local 6 days a week trying to earn not nearly enough as what I can up here.my other trade is cabinet maker and not the best wage earner

I'm just about to start a Reno. job on a house I helped build 30 years ago and it's strip the kitchen bare and rebuild all the cupboards and rebuild the bathroom. All new tiles, shower, enlarge the window to let in plenty of light. At the moment I'm a bit reserved about calling them friends because you know as well as I do that women and their kitchens really test your patience sometimes. Mates rates and the rest of it. I'll catch you later mate as I've got a bit of snoozing to do before it gets light.
