How far up the King river?
Black bream, a very large species of bream with a blue nose under the lower King river bridge, it's like a nursery under the bridge herring yellow tail blowies and occasionally small salmon.Cobbler and flat head on the flats around Oyster harbour. Possible mulloway as well. The river is very tidal all the way up past Happy days caravan park. Also be worth a try on the Kalgan river which also feeds into Oyster harbour, this river is larger. Good luck enjoy I spent many hours on and around that area growing up.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Pulled a 400mm bream from the
Pulled a 400mm bream from the Kalgan 2 weeks ago. Spewin I didnt get a pic of it as it was a great specimen. sx40 cast into unlikely areas - a shallow secondary channel which is where they were sitting not in the main channel as would be expected.
As Wes suggested, good fishing through both rivers. Just need to put the hours in.

Yep head ten km or so east to the kalgan river. Countless bream and there are mulloway floating around. Two guys were hooking tailor last time i was there as well. I was fishing at the ski area.
