went for our walk thru hillarys this morning, huge amount of sardine style baitfish around by the jetty in front of aqua, also a school of about 40 small salmon on the boat ramp side on the board walk, they were not mullet or kgs

i saw them
I saw those mullet/salmon yesterday when I brought the boat back in. somebody had thrown in a shark carcass and they were hanging around that. I was almost gonna grab a rod out and have a go but I thought they must of just been mullet

have that flat mouth like a mullet

They were in Mindarie Marina
They were in Mindarie Marina when the Macs were around. I came in one day and inside the mouth was just one big bait ball.

there are certainly mullet in
there are certainly mullet in there as well. saw a heap when I was down on my lunch break a couple of days ago, bloody big too! Not saying you didnt see salmon though

and yes there are plenty of big mullet and kgs, but these were different

I didn't hang around long enough but I don't think I have seen many mullet that big before, wish I had of got a rod out now
