No exaggeration- It was that low I reckon they could see my eyeballs popping out! lol
Very impressive as it banked steeply at Palm Beach and flew low along Mangles Bay and out across Garden Island.

C-17A - Globemaster
If you think thats big a C-17A Globematser flew past Ocean Reef marina last week. I am sure it was the same level as the upper car park

As a child...
...in southern California, I remember seeing a B 52 pass over our schoolyard. The size of it was one thing, how slowly it was flying was something else again. It was nearly stopped, just hanging there in the sky.
I reckon they're designed to do that in order to maximise the impact of the bombs...

Seen the c-17a last week
Seen the c-17a last week drop of 6 parachuters over the swanbourne barracks from a couple thousand feet (could barley see the plane). Once they had all landed the plane did a super low banked turn over the barracks was amazing to see it so low and flying on its side very skilled pilot.

was driving up great northern highway
One night when an american Galaxy was doing low altitude flights out of Pierce, without lighting. That was impressive and scary at the same time - by far the biggest Air Force plane Ive seen, only slightly smaller than the Russian Antinov.

Watched a Macchi engaging with a C-130 (Hercules)
Over Winderabandi Point years ago, just south of the weapons range, Herc must have had at least 45 degrees of bank on, under 1000ft, streaming black smoke from all four, Macchi right up his arse. Gotcha!!! Have fond memories of then, seemed to get more airborne action then than you do now. Heading home inside the reef on a glassoff, saw four dots approaching which very rapidly enlarged to Macchis flying loose formation at maybe 100 ft, they altered course to go around us, they were so low. Could look across at the pilots as they passed. Or watching another Macchi pull vertical and go straight up a lot further than I thought a Macchi ever could, then roll off the top in what looked like slow motion, must have been at minimum controllable speed.
Of course, none of this matches the time I had to share airspace with an F-111 "operating between 0-20,000 ft" transiting the Lancelin range. Awesome to watch, and yes "I will maintain current speed and heading"

Customs plane
Cruising along at 10 knots well north of Hedland and get a call on VHF 16 for identification and hear a noise to one side, look out the wheelhouse door and there is the red and white customs plane down at about 100 feet and no more than 100 metres away trying to catch our attention.
Bloke nearly fell out of the seat. Once they saw us a few times they left us alone.

A couple of years ago I was flying my ultralite south along the coast near Hillarys. I was at 1000 feet over the ocean when I spotted a dark green C130 Trojan flight North bound over the ocean at about 500 feet below me and half a mile away heading directly towards me. I banked right and watched him go past from above.

Geez Macchi's? Thats going back a few years haha
Fairly certain the herc's and C-17's might be flying around for another week or so.
Try been inside them when they bank that hard. Wierd feeling as you can't see whats happening on the outside. Amazing what a window can do.
