Just turned the cricket off now, Australia have no idea against the injuns. And GWS can suck it all up and should have just done the job last November and everyone would now be happy.

khawaja gets a game as No1

Fri, 2016-01-29 20:29

khawaja gets a game as No1 any where in the world but aus, purely because cricket aus love finch and warner the $$$ makers.

hows this for a shake up, marsh? and khawaja open warner at 3, finch at 4, smith (C) at 5, maxwell at 6 etc, use most of perth scorchers bowling there is your team.

Short memory

we thrashed them 4-1 in the ODI series and your saying they're piss weak?

T20 is the least important form of the game and we treat it that way.

Selectors

Sat, 2016-01-30 09:00

only care about big series and cups.

They created a side that were practically unbeatable at the World Cup and no one sung their praises then.

Between injuries, flying players to NZ early and 'resting' important players before NZ and beyond we never had a chance of beating a full

strength Indian side at the form of the game they love the most.

International T20 games mean nothing. West Indies are the no.1 T20 side in world cricket ATM.

Pretty much says it all really.

Domestic

Sat, 2016-01-30 21:07

BBL is a domestic T20 Comp, completely different to International.

I think T20 works great at the domestic level, this is where it should stay.

Gives a lot of unknown or fringe players a platform to show there skills and

elevate themselves to higher honours in other domestic comps.

I just think with the tightly packed schedules for international players these

international T20 arn't taken seriously.

Just look at how the selectors have chopped and changed the side.

To be fair he did play a pretty good innings in the ODI series just gone that got Australia over the line...then there was that century against Sri Lanka in the World Cup. Still needs to do more though I think.

Would like to see Tait gone...not impressed at all with Boland.

Great bowling Tye. Not.

Hate to say it, but Tye bowled us out of that win and probably destroyed an Australian career of any sort.

dont totaly blame the Aussies here boys, that Indian team holds a lot of pure class that most teams would struggle to get over.

Aussies far to good

Wed, 2016-02-24 12:06

as a test side.  The kiwis seem to be able to hold their own on occasions in the one day form of the game but struggle to maintain a good performance over 5 days in test matches.  Aussies bowled well even without Starc.

It goes: Test cricket >

Wed, 2016-03-02 10:37

It goes:

Test cricket > daylight > ODIs > daylight > some more daylight > a few laps around the universe > T20s.

Give me a Test bowler nagging away at the top of off stump for 3 overs and building up pressure before getting one to go away or nip back in before watching a T20 batter try to hit every ball in an over over mid wicket anyday.

Yeah it'd be nice to win a T20 trophy but I just don't get emotionally involved in international T20's as it isn't actually cricket to start with. I've always likended T20 to boxing in that some people like to watch a great boxing match between skilled fighters who use all the tools they have to defence, counter and attack (Test cricket) and some people like to watch two unconditioned boxers go out and throw bombs until someone gets knocked out (T20 cricket).

Bit pissed off nobody is going to televise the World T20 championship. Apparently the Indians are asking huge dollars for televising rights. Be surprised if anyone picks it up.

Watching Australia and South Africa in the 2nd T20. We're having a bowl and they are hitting us all over the place, 7 overs down and they are 1/75. Going to get nasty I feel.

Pretty impressive run chase by the aussies. Hopefully Maxwell can hold that form for another month. And our bowlers don't leak 200+ too regularly...

Yep, ended up with a great win, I went to bed when we were 3/30 or there abouts thinking we're done and dusted. Woke up around 11:30 when the rescue chopper heading back to Bunbury went overhead, and thought about sneaking another look, but the need to sleep was too great. Hopefully there's a replay on today sometime.

Australia tumble out of the World T20. I thought it would be a dodgy pitch, but it came in the shape of Virat Kohli. I don't think he likes us.
