fly fishing perth

Tue, 2013-01-15 12:41

fly fishing in perth is fine as far as saltwater goes, dont know any freshwater places in perth where there are any fish.

you can go fly fishing in the swan river on the flats for whiting or flathead and furthe up the river for bream.

you just have to have the right set up ie light slatwater fly rod 6 wt and a reel to match but i know that you can buy fly fishing rod and reel combos from anaconda for like 150 dollars which is pretty good. and the you will just need the propper flies i personally tie my own but that is because i have the equipment to do so so foryou you are better off just buying the flies already made from fly world perth.
