Help CAIMAN Reel Review
Submitted by shebadiesel on Sun, 2011-01-30 13:12
I have a new CAIMAN DJ200 does anyone out there rate them at all I have adjusted it I can't remember how many bloody times but it has a nasty habit of bird nesting I have never had this probem with any other reel I have ever used (I never bird nest).
This reel was a gift and I would love to keep using it as it is soo smooth but the casting is starting to really p*ss me off...

It says it has centrifugal
It says it has centrifugal cast control but I can't find anyhwere that explains how or if you can adjust it, usually they are little weights attached to the spool which you can push or pull with the outer position providing more control but less distance, I see it's got a single screw to get at the spool so you should be able to investigate this easily. They certainly look solid with a cool looking swept handle.

Yeah i had one actually two
Did not have a drama with it, as Daisy said adjust the friction plates under side plate.
Adjust for each lure with the spool adjustment on drag side as well.
