yes, freo dont have a premiership, eagles have three, allbeit by 2 teams. eagles entered in 1986/87 and won there first premiership in 1992.
now from there entry in 86/87 they had the pick of 100% of the WAFL players. when fremantle entered in 1995, unlike west coast, was not awarded any significant draft concessions, they did have to pick form the WAFL, but this had already been raped and pilaged from the west coast camp. hence taking years for the club to build its strength, now we have a team better than the eagles and all you do is bag us on our lack of premierships. suck it up eagles supporters.

As a freo supporter i am enjoying the ride, Eagles supporters your time has come as it does to every team over the years. I will happily cop shit if we fail to convert on deemed sucess of freo over the next 2/3 years if it doesn't at least give us a GF appearance.

Yes you won a premiership in 2006, you fail to remember who you nearly played that year, yes thats right Fremantle played Sydney in the prelims that year and we almost got a Western Derby final. I'm sorry but the two premierships before that are history, none of the current players are there now and they where a very long time ago. Kudos for winning them when you did and i did support them back in the days but now there is a team from my neck of the woods that is playing well and is finals bound.

No football club dwells in the past, like Fremantle who can't look back on the lean times and the eagles looking back to the glory days it does no one any favours, frankly looking back at the past sucesses just makes this season look all the more worse for the Eagles this year and the next few coming.

I will just point out one thing. I went to the Derby. First game of Footy i've seen not on the box and i will say it soured me of football for life. The game of holding and wrestling for the ball and bad sportsmanship on both teams. Guys taken out very late on too many occasions.

Poor umpiring and to those dockers fans who say they won the game with unmatched skills. As a westcoast supporter you should be glad we gave you the game. You owe us that at least. Yes youre welcome.

At half time when the Eagles were exiting the ground sadly at the same moment the little Ausse Kick's kids were comeing on. My 9 year old got very upset thinking it was the kids that were getting boooed. Had great fun expaining about bad manners and bad sportsmanship at the top of my voice for all to hear.

Sadly was possibly the same were the Dockers were exiting.  

Eagles will not be winning another Grand Final anytime soon with what has been recruited anyway, simply years away.

In Round 15 2009, Fremantle achieved the lowest score in its history and of the noughties, scoring only 1 goal and 7 points (13 total) to the Adelaide Crows 19.16 (130). It was held to just one point in the first half and the only goal scored came in the third quarter.

Bar was full prob 100-120 drinkers at start of game and only 3 dockers supporters copping it untill the Dockers started to get ahead. Come halfway through the last quarter there were 3 customers [dockers supporters] and 5 bar staff who couldn't leave---not one weegirls supporter, weak bastards couldn't stand and cop some of the stuff they were handing out in the first half, will always stand out in my memory bank. They can hand it out but cannot take it when the things are not to their liking.

Explains a lot about why Freo struggled so much early on.

I have to say as a WCE supporter that it does suck arse that we have gone to the bottom of the heap when the draft is so badly impacted. Most of the good teams now are making hay with the priority picks they received in the past 10 years. From I have heard we will get picks 7 and 8 if we don't win another game (I could be wrong on that though)

It is going to be a long crawl back up the heap, but with the money the club has there is no way we will stay down there for too long.

That is why the salary cap is in place.

Carlton bought a few premiership years back with use of the cheque book and got fined big time after the cap was introduced for trying to do it by the back door method.

Cannot see the weegirls getting any results for a few years because the cream is going to Gold coast and the new NSW team which is good news for Melbourne and Richmond who have cleaned up in recent years.
