Going out tomorrow - Wednesday
Submitted by alfred on Tue, 2007-12-11 21:36
I am finally taking the boat out tomorrow. This will be the first time since September. It is more a sorting trip but if all goes well I will head out for a fish or jig. Wont be carrying much stuff, keeping it simple. If anyone wants to tag along, SMS me before 9am tomorrow morning.
I intend to head out at about 9.30am after dropping the kids off at school and loading up and will be back along side by 3pm.

My Dad is out from oceanreef heading north though up to tworocks/yanchep, and will probably be back at the ramps around 2.30-3.00pm, so you may see him there.

Boat checked out ok but I
Boat checked out ok but I launched late, so fished around the pots off Ocean Reef. Landed a few black ass, a couple of keepers, one just over 40cm. I was surprised to pull 2 undersized pinkies in just 8m of water! Is that common? Makes me wonder if I should work the shallow water more?

Yeah I was Working, he said
Yeah I was Working, he said the blackarse was good but caught quite a lot of smaller fish, which were released. Did you anchor and burley outside the reef?
