Thank you streaker boy! That

Thank you streaker boy! That would have to be one of the best interviews i've seen in a long time. I was just fixated with everything in the whole clip.

I worked on one of the 1st Aus/Japanese Tuna boat joint consortiums operating out of Hobart many moons ago (Halcyon No. 3. was the boats name, VNNY) and was owned by a company called Ausmarine Fisheries. (WA Co.)

The objective at the time was to catch a quoter of Bluefin before the Jap boats were allowed to move in.

I have seen some big tuna, anything over 100kg was called a Jumbo but wow! wow! wow! those Northern equivalent are just absolutely F#@ken awesome!

There are big SFT in our oceans but unfortunately you have to keep going south to find them, we tend to get the babies migrating south. On saying that, I know there are huge YFT & Big Eye out wide of the Capes and have seen them, so the likes of Harro and the other fellow F/W guys fishing deep for Harpuka etc, try putting out a drifting live bait in those waters as well, you'd be surprised. There are also a lot of Blue Marlin out there as well. Just wish I could get out that far!

For the true fishing enthusiasts if you have one of the new 'Android' or 'Apple Iphones' you can download 'Zan Greys' adventures as per his name mentioned in the clip for next to nothing. I have and have read them in the past but he was the man that set gamefishing going in NZ and Australia as far as I'm concerned. really interesting.

Great video, thanks for sharing mate. I love the fact they introduced strict rules concerning capture and take of theses giants.

Cheers Grant.
