Says perfect for braid to mono connection, but how are you supposed to join the braid without it cutting through the swivel itself? And would it really be a strong connection?|
Maybe it can be used for that, but doesnt seem 'perfect'.

Bit confusing how exactly the lines tie on. The picture isnt all that clear.


Would be interesting to see one in person, but at 55lb max rating, and being quite bulky, i'm not really sure if they would really be all that useful in real world applications? Would be interesting to see how the ratings hold too. Will the swivel be stuffed by the time you get to their breaking strain (or much earlier). I.e. might break at what they say, but might be 'unusable' before that point?

The 5.5kg fluro swivel is ~ the same dimensions of a size 7 crane swivel which has a breaking strain of ~35kg....
