Flat Rock Saturday Feb 14 2009

An interesting day. Conditions good early arvo but turned to shit and weed when it mattered most. I worked hard for a couple of flathead, a nice shovel nose and some whiting for bait. I met up with a member on the beach. Her forum name is Shorly I think and she hasn't posted here for a while. I am sure she will revive herself again now and once again become active. Nice to meet you Shortly and Hubbie (and dog).

It was nice to meet you as
It was nice to meet you as well and would be great to catch up again and perhaps do an allnighter.
Things didnt get any better after you left, if anything the weed got a little thicker. We didnt get anything and ended up leaving about 9pm.
Thanks for the directions for the way out, it was 10 times better then the trip in via Wilbinga Road and the jeep handled it easily.

I'm in (subject to leave pass)
Let's see if we can't co-ordinate some favourable weather. Burning chairs is OK but a decent fish or two is always nice and makes for a feed.
It wasn't you guys who torched the car on the beach up at Loonies was it?
Cheers, Vince
