U mean Daiwa Sensor 8 PE

Tue, 2006-08-08 17:59

U mean Daiwa Sensor 8 PE braid?? nope we dont stock them but we do have Grifton PE braid, coloured coded every 10m, comes in either 300m or 600m rolls of 60lb and 80lb.

I can also get hold of Varivas PE braid which I use. Its the best stuff from Japan. Heaps better than the Daiwa Sensor 8....smoother and stronger. But like all jap stuff....not cheap....

i work up in malaga at the tackle shack jay. As for your request we arent a stockist of team daiwa reels bar the sols and vientos.

SF, same as oceanside we dont stock daiwa 8x but have frogbraid or grifton colored depth check braids. I could probably get it in but not for about 2 weeks due to no daiwa warehouse over hear, daiwas eastern states.

I havent seen the Froggy

Wed, 2006-08-09 21:06

I havent seen the Froggy stuff but the Grifton has been good so far. We'll also be getting in Sufix Herculine. Bloody good shit and Gribbo has already taken the first roll. This Sufix is bloody smooth and its coded every 10m and marks at every 10m.

is the frog braid colour

Thu, 2006-08-10 21:59

is the frog braid colour coded or plain?

around $100 is the norm for coloured PE lines. My varivas 10x10 is $130 and thats the cheapest of the Varivas. Their GT line are $460 for 600m and no smaller spools.

If you want to save and still have indicators. Get a spool of yellow or bright coloured braid such as Matrix Pro, Tuf Line or FINs and use a black marker to mark the 10m increments. Hmm....maybe not.....

I agree!

Thu, 2006-08-10 22:41

As Honsu mentioned, I reckon the New Sufix Herculine multi colour jigging line is the ducks nuts ie smooth and a low price alternative to Varivas which is good but I think the PE Tuna is about $150 ballpark for 300m etc etc

I'd stick to the new suffix multi jigging braid ATM, I'm gonna look at stocking Varivas soon also!
