Hey everyone
I have been fishing alot lately and havent produced much fish for the family. Have been going to ocean reef and mindarie but havent been able to catch much. Caught a couple of baby snappers but that about it. I heard that you can get 1kg snapper and mulloway off mindarie on mullies.
have a try and tell me if it works for you.
im trying it to see if it works.

Tailor
Best bet seems to be going for tailor at the moment Nic, seems to be a good run happening along the coast from all reports. I'm up north, but good luck.

Yesterday from the beach
I took the dog for a run up Wilbinga Road and fished for a couple of hours from the beach. Time was against me so I missed the evening session. The water is full with masses of nice whiting and some really plump herring so signs are good. All reports are that Tailor are around up there in good size and numbers. It's important though to stay until at least dark to catch the run. 1/2 a bucket of nice smaller fish for me in a couple of hours and some fun smoking this morning.
Dog is happy also
Cheers, Vince

Nic As Vice suggest, the best chance of a good catch is around
sunset. There have been good tailor caught recently off Cott Groyne, City Beach, the south wall at Hillarys, and Pinnaroo Point.
It will be better when this south easter goes away.
