Exmouth Fishing Report
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Mon, 2007-07-23 21:08
Had a terrible day fishing in Exmouth today, winds under 10 knots all day and the fish biting. We only ended up with 3 red emperor, 5 rankin cod, 2 goldband jobfish, 2 rosy jobfish, 1 mack tuna, 1 spangled emperor, 1 blackspot pigfish, 1 robinson seabream and I can't remember what else was in the esky now, released a heap of everything too. Tried for marlin for an hour or so with little surface activity, but then went back to bottom fishing and got smashed by some monster unknowns. Gully's got the pics and I've now got all his video footage of early Exmouth and Rotto Salmon, it will be good! I hope everyone had a nice start to the working week, we did. :)

Thats right
I also forgot one stoinking crimson seaperch, how silly of me. We will have to see what today turns up, absolutely magic outside now, think today is going to be a mackerel day with maybe a marlin or saily thrown in... :)

Fast learner
Remember what I taught you a couple of weeks back and you may be lucky enough to land a mackie or a saily instead of all that rubbish you've been catching. Say g'day to Gully for me.

Nice
Well, we ended up with 1 mack today of about 23-25kg, 2 coral cod and had one wicked coronation trout amputated by Mr Shark. Also lost a couple of other good fish to the local monster cod.. :( Couldn't find any marlin or sails thou, very quiet with the surface activity.
