Hi guys
Is it possible for the battery 1,2 on off isolator switch in the boat to fail. I noticed on the weekend that the boat electrics can work when the switch is in the off position this has only just happened as it used to work fine
thanks adam

yes it is
all electrial switching mechisams will eventualy fail so yes its possible just put a new isolator switch in and all will be good but sounds like it has just carcked its switcing mechinasim , sorry but one other thing , never never switch your battery isolator switch with the outboard / inboard while its running ,it will draw a large arc because it is under load
A it stuffs your isolator switch
B if you have some fuel fumes floating around your likely to get blowen up
