just a question
Well done .Just wondering if the females had eggs .This is in no way a shot at you .I was just wanting to know because the one we got the other day looked like it was getting ready to spawn. If so i will leave some of my ground alone for a while and come in a bit shallower
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?

they tend to fatten up
The fillets seem to get really thick and you notice the thin layer of the white fatty stuff between the skin and flesh gets thicker.Normaly i get out enough to notice it myself but im in the same bout as every one else this year
This time of year most of the time they start as the warmer water comes on i think. They seem to be a bit later this year the same as the sambos .I think it may be a good year for sportsfishing (mackies and dollies )Also hopefully a marlin or two.
