Dhufish range

Always interested in reports of dhufish were there not supposed to be.
So I know mates have got them off the cliffs at steep point, people catch them at Albany. I've caught them in 100m metro.
How far north and south have you heard of them caught? Ever in South Australia? What's the deepest you have heard?.

dog beach .. late 90s by memory.

In another strange one, son Jeff got a salmon at Learmonth next to the jetty, videod it oterwise no one would believe him

57cm specimen, about 50m
57cm specimen, about 50m offshore bunker bay - on a chrome pink diver.
7m deep from memory so probably not as "out of the blue" as above.

Albany
I'll throw one out there, the old man fished Albany a lot during the 80s and 90s, had a commercial longline license briefly and knew a lot of fisherman and pros through sea rescue etc..
during his time here Dhufish were an extremely rare catch, he only ever caught one, which was west of Albany..
only in the recent decades it seems, Dhufish have become more prevalent down here to the point where they are now a common catch..
I've heard of them as far as Bremer unsure any further east...
No evidence to back that claim up.. interesting to hear others input

We get stacks of dhuies in denmark. We often see big fish (80+ cm) in only 20m water
