Gents,
Any word / reports on how carnarvon jetty is fishing this summer?
Heading up in a couple of weeks and thought i'd fish the jetty for a day.
Was up there last year and im assuming you can only still get as far as the bus shelter?
Cheers,
Chris

Its open as far as the shelter. They haven't been able to get much done beyond there because of the other fire a couple of moths back.
Haven't been out there for a while but fom what I've heard good tailor at night, mulloway, trevally dart and yellowfin bream have been the go with a chance of school and shark mackies and big tigers as well.

Thanks mate - sounds like its worth a crack hey.
Ive only fished there during the day until dusk, and have never done much thru the night (due to a couple of blokes telling me about cars getting broken into), is fishing thru the night generally a better fish or too many sharks around anyway?

Night
Always better fishing at night.
If you have a 4x4, drive down the beach from the prawn factory road and climb up on the jetty, that way its not so far to walk and less chance of someone breaking in, though I've never heard of any cars being broken into since I've been here.
