Car broken into at Kwinana Boat Ramp

GRRRRRRRR my car got broken into at kwinana boat ramp yesterday afternoon between 1pm - 5.30pm while me and another member, Goatlobster, were out fishing on the Jetski.

Assholes smashed the front passenger window and stole both our wallets, my iPhone, Panasonic Lumix underwater camera, and some sunglasses. We found Ben's (Goatlobster) set of car keys in my ignition, thats the part that scares me the most, they actually tried to steal the car!

A couple of hours later i got a facebook message from Ben, saying that someone had contacted him via Facebook, and told him that they had found his wallet. Apparantely this guy had also been broken into but in the carpark near Fremantle Power Station, and somehow he found a stash of stuff that had been stolen, nothing valuable, just wallets and stuff.. He also said a couple of guys fishing down the road had also been broken into!

I havent heard from the guy about any of my gear, but apparantely they went back to the place this morning and found a whole heap of stuff that looked like had been stolen, along with needles and the like, resembling some kind of junkie scum camp.

Lets hope the police catch these guys and most of our stuff can be returned.

GRRR gets me so angry!!

Good luck!

The cops are too busy busting people sneaking cars onto the beach so they dont get robbed!

And making you blow into the breatho.

Or setting up massive road blocks disrupting traffic for hours!

just so they can get some poor ass in their bunky and throw a canary on it!

(If you dont understand that last sentence, dont worry no animals get hurt in the process!)...Wink

makes you spew alright, Freo_Bio is right.

The cops don't give a toss about you or your gear probably because when they get the pricks to court the wanker do gooder magistrates smack them on the hand with a wet train ticket and say don't do that again or i'll hit you twice next time.

They are laughting all the to the next hard working punters car while probably spunging on your taxes.

Shame to hear mate... that park just up from the ramp is frequented by large groups of indigenous people.. Never leave anything of value in your car mate. Definitely not in that area..

Courts are the issue.....

Thu, 2010-07-22 01:24

The Police can't be blamed for the fact that cars are being broken into, these kids (and 95% of them are kids) are being caught repeatedly whether it be doing burgs, stealing/breaking into cars....Fact.

The courts are the ones letting everybody down by slapping them on the wrist each time and allowing them to go out and re-offend.

Unfortunetly we live in a world where we have to think twice about where we park our cars, and there aren't to many safe places out there. I know, i've had my car knocked over at Woodies Point in the past.

Maybe if nothing else comes from this thread at least it may point out to all FW members not to leave anything of any value in your cars.

Understand the predicament you guys were in beau being that you were heading out on the water, pretty hard to keep your wallet and iphone in your pocket when there is a possibility of going into the drink. Leave the valubles at home maybe?

Police are frustrated

Thu, 2010-07-22 10:48

Hi Beau ,sorry to hear about the break in ........not only did you loose some expensive

gear and wallets ,but damaged to the car as well .........

I know a few cops and they are as frustrated as we are with the courts approach to juvenile crime ,but there's little they car do ,so they get sick and tired of the constant catch and release.

I dont leave anything of value in the car these days , your better off taking it all with you in the boat.

Its not just juenile's

Thu, 2010-07-22 13:21

Its not just juenile's sadly. Had a 41 year old junky steal a boat from the yard, cops caught him, charged and got a video taped confession then let him go on bail. It went to court and the Ab legal service has asked for a extension becuase they are trying to get the taped confession thrown out. If they can do that they said they intend to plead not guilty. Even though he had the boat at his house. Hooked up to his car, my posesions in his car, we have his fingerprints as well as two of his mates on a car they smashed and did over $2000 grands worth of damage too in the yard. Two people saw his car parked at the yard on the Sunday and the morning of the crime.

So it has been up to caught 5 times so far and the courts keep gving them extensions.

Can't believe  it really. At what point is it worth the cops spending our tax payers money and when should they call it a day. Even though the evidense is 100%.

We've been told we won't see any restitution as he has nothing and you can't get blood out of a stone so the courts won't even try.....

Personially i can't see any deterant for these guys to keep it up. If they were cleaver blokes they'd break the law more often.

Its embarrassing just how

Thu, 2010-07-22 15:51

Its embarrassing just how piss-weak the law is. Almost makes you ashamed doesn't it. I have to deal with sh*i from these "youths" (of all ages really) at work all the time, we get robbed and lose hundreds upon hundreds of dollars stock every month (booze). The cops literally don't want to know about it. They've said to me many times that there's no point chasing it up because there's nothing they can do.

One time my workmate and I were attacked with a foot long butchers knife, he didn't get us as he chased my mate down the street and when he came running towards me i slammed the doors shut, after crapping my pants. We called 000 and they found him getting into a car with three knifes... and it was all on camera. They didn't even charge him with anything??

Not to mention these 'misunderstood youths' breaking into my car several times.

Should be more like Singapore IMO.

Very dissappointing.

Very dissappointing.  Living in Karratha we have hundreds of the turds just roaming the streets all night looking for anything to steal.

We came to a decision to not lock the car.  That way they dont smash your windows just to steal $2 from your ashtray.

I wish there was a virus to wipe them out!

Damn Right

Yeah, Its great to see little pieces of Mullewa popping up in Nickol again isnt it......Cops know the majority of the offenders but (apparently) as they are under age, they are given back to the parents or part there of....

I dont work my ass off to have a group of little shits rip off/vandalise my gear.

They are never alone and always have a few on the lookout further down the street.

Ill pitch in for that virus.......

There are too many pussies these days that want to "help" all the crims and give them civil rights crap.

Problem now is, there are more of the do gooders than us good ole Aussies.

a few years back there was a group formed to look after the rights of prisoners in jails. There role was to ensure they were treated ok and had good conditions???  mmm makes you think doesn't it.....we appear to have some lawyers for the defence who are hell bent on finding a loop hole and testing the laws of evidence instead of advising the crook that they should just plead guilty because of the weight of evidence?

no wonder our court system is so bogged down! Funny how so far in the elections i have not seen law and order raised in any shape or form??  we will see come closer to the voting day...
