Buy/Sell Rules
Hi Crew,
Please note that it is not a good idea to list your phone number publically on this website, or any website for that matter unless it is done privately. This site is viewed by tens of thousands of people daily, spammers and there could be people you really probably don't want having your personal number. I know this is primarily a WA based site and most people are ok, but in this day and age, it pays to be careful. (same goes with email addresses, spammers love an easy target!)
On a side note, unless it is crucial, please list your price for your item, nothing worse than having to go through the whole process of sending messages only to find its too pricey or not what you want. Just save the hassle, put the price up, put a photo up - it all goes to help prove you are a legitimate seller.
Again a reminder, NO commercial selling on fishwrecked, it is automatic account removal.
Cheers,
Adam

Forum members security
Have to be careful giving away too much personal info...even if it's just a phone # people who use gumtree should be well aware of that , you are either bombarded with scammers or you give unknown people your address then they don't turn up... always makes me a little paranoid as to their intentions...by making them sign up first as a member and requesting contact details via pm is a much smarter option...

Personal property
What you will find is that its their personal property that they are advertising, stuff that they have used their shop discount to purchase then found out it doesn't suit their needs then they sell it.

I reckon if more people put
I reckon if more people put there suburb in it would be better as well. I'm far NOR and I probably won't drive to say... Port Kennedy for some fishing line, lures etc. I know we can post but it is always more tempting if something is around the corner!
