braid strength + strongest knot

Howdy
Thought it may be of interest to some that old matey
Set up a rig to test the break point of various lines.
Basically a short section of line attached to a bucket
Into which he ladels kinetic sand. One thing that this
Has demonstrated is that the palemo knot is the strongest. Every
Other knot, tied at (either) other end, fails first.
The other interesting thing is that we are yet to find a braid that
Performs as advertised.
A new spool of 100lb consistently broke at @ 62lb.
A new spool of 55lb consistently broke at @ 32lb.
A new spool of 50lb consistently broke at @ 26lb.
Various others - similar pattern.
This is not the knot giving way, it is the line.
Any comments on trustworthy brands would be good
as we can't seem to find one.
