Blackwood River bream footage

A non-fishing mate of mine was down at Augusta over Easter and took this footage of a couple of bream in the Blackwood River.

Some nice sizes there!

Looks like Molloy

Looks like Molloy island, at the ferry jetty. ( could be wrong on location ? )

If it is , it's a no fishing area. The bream get fed there daily .

Yeah that's the spot.  He mentioned it was a no-fishing zone so we came to the conclusion they must get fed there, the water was only 1/2 a metre deep and crystal clear!

It is Molloy Island

I have been there in the past. It is no fishing where the photo was taken, but that ends about 50mts to the left.  After that another 20-30 mts is the islands favorite fishing spot. I got bricked there for a whole afternoon and only caught one or two tiny bream and a shitty old rod/reel.  Good times.

Some of the brutes swimming in that pic would be 50cm +
