Phil from camping world in rockingham showed me two trout the other day caught whilst they were in vanuatu the smallest went 14 kilos and the biggest 16 kilos dont know the length but they were FAT!
yep I have no doubt that trout off Dampier can grow 100cm given the chance, although a fish of this size would test you on just about any tackle... hence why few if any are probably ever caught.
yer richard has a big yellow plate alli like 26ft long and hads been fishing in the fenacle for years i believe - i went to school with his son in perth - used to live up there but i went to st pauls primary
dont waste too much time posting the trout as they go off in this heat real quick and whoever is recieving it wont be happy , neither will the postie. seriously sounds like a nice catch for you, well done
