On a serious note & in my opinion, I fail to see the need to spend big bucks on line intended for sambo jigging - particularly if jigging from a charter boat.

Lines cross consistently & in most cases, breakage occurs & plenty of line is lost. In my first experience sambo jigging, I used quality PE & it took the first experience to appreciate that high quality line is not needed.

I now use a cheaper alternative (tufline), which is still excellent quality.

Again, it took my first experience which I am open about, so it's up to you whether you choose to spend in the upper spectrum of PE lines.

For all my more serious sportfishing trips, I use the high end gear so that jigs are work effectively.

Popping on the other hand & again on my more serious trips, the best is used for workability, castability & strength.
