Stick to appropriate speed then you won't have to worry about a thing. Wink

Probably stupid question,

Probably stupid question, but I am not a boat owner. How do you estimate your speed with no speedo on board? For example in a dinghy.

Speed

On the recent Carnarfin comp they had the radar gun out at 0600 in the morning catching boats on the way out down the channel.

To get a rough idea of your speed in a dinghy if you are on the plane you are going too fast.

They are usually hidden

They are usually hidden around the place at Port Geographe also, they go into the rear of unoccupied homes on the canal and hide behind the bbq's and stuff. Sneaky buggers...

Cheers

Another silly question. Why

Another silly question. Why are Fisheries doing speed checks on boats? I would have thought that would be something the water police or dept of transport would do.
