arm stretch at the bank

A quick session at the bank resulted in a couple of hard fights , 1 after the other and to say my arms were aching afterwards is an understatement. 5 foot hammer and a 6 foot shovel

maybe the scalloped is better but standard hammerhead has the weirdest taste - the neighbour wouldnt even eat it, yes it was bled and cleaned within 2 mins of catching

Thoroughly agree with you there, if I hook onto one its time to get the hooks back if possible and let it swim.
Can remember many years ago when we would deliver small sharks to one fish shop and we would always try to sneak a small hammer in with his lot, you would be carrying 2-3 sharks in each hand and he woud pull you up and tell you NOT THAT ONE in no uncertain terms and you would have to take it back out to the truck and try again, always same result.

Having some for dinner
Having some for dinner tonight after being frozen last night. Lots of people make the mistake of eating it fresh. Better once frozen and thawed
