Maybee some of you can help me with theese?
As you may have guesed i am new to fishing in WA and have a fair bit to learn.

crap fish but alright if filleted for bait

Schecky, I find that the
Schecky, I find that the King Wrasse are pretty good eating if you get into them straight away. Leavethe skin on and fry the fillets up in butter after dusting them in som eseaoned flour. They are pretty good like this but dont even try to freeze them.
I agree that they are also bloody good bait out deep.

Western rock blackfish for
Western rock blackfish for the first one I think. I caught one just like it and that was the closest I could find.

the wrasse are reasonable to eat, they have a soft white flesh with not too many bones in
invest some money on a book called Fishes Of Southern Australia from memory the book sells for $30 odd ,has helped us out heaps of times

The first one is a mature female McCullocks (the males have striking blue line colouring around their head)
