Starc takes wickets but needs
Starc takes wickets but needs to work on his line if we are to continue with him as a front line bowler. Releases the pressure too much when we start getting on top especially when he goes around the wicket and especially when he goes around the wicket to left handers. Liking Hazelwood more and more.

I love reading what Geoff Lemon has to say, and he has summed it up well once again

Their no 11 got a higher
Their no 11 got a higher score than 9 of our players.
Great bowling from Hazelwood, looks like he's starting to hit the seam more consistantly and getting a bit of that McGrath niggle off the pitch

The following players must
The following players must come into consideration for a test berth...Maddinson, Bancroft, Hanscombe, Lehmann, Wade, Agar
Out with Voges, Marsh(both) Siddle anyone else over 30 except Warner. Go young, build again. Talk to the state sides and get them to do something similar. Put a restriction on how many older players can play.
Get the fixture sorted out so that at least 2 shield games are played before the first test. None of this swapping players into or out of the side either. Starc and Siddle both had a limited build up, it cannot have helped. Batsman are woefully out of form. We cant catch either. Australia was once the leader in fielding...not anymore. Too much emphasis on T20. However, that is where the $ are for the game and the players.

Right on
To much concentration on T20 style of play, if you want to make this style of cricket your future, and it can't be denied there is were the money is.
Then play that style of game, but I don't believe that you can play test cricket and T20 they are so different and require quite a different mind set.

We need to build a time
We need to build a time machine and go back to the 90s and grab Martin Love, Jamie Siddons, Darren Berry, Michael Di Venuto, Jamie Cox and Matthew Elliot.

I think age is catching up with voges. When you start getting badged like that its time to give it up.

Had no idea did he. We did well to make 262 thanks to Turner and Whitman. Bancroft obviously doesn't want a baggy green...

See what Head does in SA's
See what Head does in SA's dig. He's my prefered replacement for Voges based on his Shield season last year but Handscomb looks handy. Can't he keep as well? I seem to remember another keeper/batter that couldn't crack his home state and ended making a bit of an impact on international cricket. He can't be a worse keeper than Wade and is a better batter than Wade and Neville.
Smarsh had surgery so you'd think he's out for a while and Agar has a calf.

Sadly hasn't shown enough
Sadly hasn't shown enough since his breakout season when he was touted as Haddin's replacement. Give the gloves to Handscom!
The opener is the position that is going to cause the most angst. Do you go with an underperforming Burns, an underperforming Bancroft or give someone else a crack?
