1.5kilo zebra fish at hillarys today :)

hey fw members,
went down with liam to hillarys for some buffies , zebra fish and leatherjackets
liam got like 6 and i cant remember how many bust offs
I got 1 zebra fish around 1.5kilos and one bust of by a buffie around 2 3 kilos
it was a great day all the fish put up a nice fight so it was good and it was my 1st zebra so i was happy
next time i should get a buffie lets hope so

It looks like another type of fish to me, a zebra fish is about 4 other types of fish including a fresh water fish.

monster zebra fish i dont ever see them that big while spearing and i see bulk of them, how were u catching the buffies? i wouldnt mind getting some of them before the abrohols. they attract macks like theres no tomorrow

the picture dosnt do it justice. very very fat around the stomach, i put a guess at around 1.5kg. we had some monster hookups, to suspected 3kg+ specimens. 8lb braid just isnt enough on a small flick combo hahha. FF, using dough.

Buffs
Any fish with the exception of cobia that has grey flesh is going to be crap eating. Buffs and dusky morwongs are prime examples, never tried zebras and not likely to.
