1 bream........

Got out for a fish early Sunday before work. With only 40mins to fish before work......only river prawns to use. First cast......missed a take, second cast......hookup and bust off.......thrid cast......BLOWIE, awesome..........next 3 or 4 hookups resulted in pulled hooks and bust offs due to lack of sufficient leader.....only had 6lb leader.
Finally landed one, took a pic and time to hit MACCAs for breakkie......

Nice Blackie Honsu
What bait did you pic him up on? I can't see any sinkers on that rig, so shall we assume a free floated whole river prawn is the go?
Cheers

Nice fish Honsu
Thats a cracker bream and from the structure your fishing out of I'm not suprised you got bricked several times. Suppose you gotta lose some to win some. :) Gotta get me back into some bream action soon, what tide were you fishing on, or just giving it a crack to see if there was something there?

Great catches Honsu, are these fellas taken around the South Perth Yacht Club or somewhere else where you can not get into?
