'Whale Tale' - Fishwrecked.com Nature Video
Submitted by Adam Gallash on Thu, 2007-10-18 18:48
This is how I spent my birthday on Monday 15th October with my girlfriend Janna. It was a great day with the whales migrating south, leaving the gulf as the temperature warms up. Hope you enjoy this short video of them having fun in the Exmouth Sun!

awesome
awesome footage Adam.
You can't beat seeing it live though hey. We've had a few get verrrry close to the boat out in the gulf last week. One was under out boat for about 5 minutes and literally didn't move an inch (we thought it was dead), then it arched its back and casually floated up next to us... quite entertaining.

Well done Adam that was a great bit of video your very privillged to see it like that
Some poor buggers pay a lot of money to go on whale watching trips but you get it for free
I'll be there in april next year but we'll have to put up with the whale sharks I suppose!
That's if we see any at all

re rules and whales
Adam may be you could put the rules and regs up here about whale watching from a private , non -commercial boat . Dont exclude the 100m distance from whales with moter running
.ps put a polarizing lens on the camera you will get better color and sort out the reflection on water and gain death of field with in the water, cheap as chips are the lens give a new look to the vision .
