Another top video from the pirates, featuring the induction of new member Rob. You can see the delight on Mitch's face when Rob picks up the biiiiiiiig mackie on his outfit. :) Hope you enjoy the terrible conditions up in Exmouth, if you like your mackerel, then this video is for you!! Onya Adam, being the camera man SUX when ya see a horse like that come over the side of the boat.... NOT!!! Was happy to be part of the induction of the new Pirate with this monster... Mind you im pretty sure his first catch was a size Corination Trout... not a bad way to start i must say!!!

you going to coral bay for the holidays.ill be staying next door to the zeplins.there over ther for a week .im there for two weeks.as you know jay im expecting the wind to be howling so am not likly to be putting the boat in as much as ide like.but still beats work

that was only early in the day we were all supporting hangovers .bye 3 in the arvo the beers were flowing and so was the colourful language .managed to fill the blue tub with empties

Great vid Mitch!!!
Love the commentary on your vids Mitch. Always a couple of pearlers in there. For a split second there you must have been gutted when your rod, reel and lure claimed that monster but instead of you being the angler, your mate had the fish.
Very nice fish that one.
I'd love to be an honarary pirate for a day, just to experience the wit and reparte that must fly left right and centre after a few black cans. You guys certainly look like you have a ball whenever you go fishing. Top stuff guys, keep it coming.

my fault
i couldnt be gutted as jacks rod went of first wiyh a sizzling long run that i managed to get my greedy little mits on. rob had started winding my gear in and that went as well.i was just turning jacks fish when the lines crossed with rob still loosing string at great speed and ping ! there goes jacks line and brand new lure [it had only been in the water for a couple of minutes] and was only bought 1 hour earlier.identical tiger striped lures swimming a double hook up but only one fish landed.poor rob he,s hooked now and next trip he will have his own combo plus lures.guess what he wants to buy a thunnus.bloody good reals.just dont drop them on tiles

I will say that we havent really had bad trip yet ey mitch. Mind you a bad day's fishin beats a good day's work as they say... Frequently the esky is full of beer at the start of the day and fish at the end!!! And as far as me doin the video on your boat at Coral Bay..... WRONG!! This time your takin me out brother... Hopefully we can organise a few other FW crew on a trip and get stuck into it!!! Everything that is!! Tight lines.

I'm heading south tomorrow, wished I was heading to the warmth and fishy populated waters. Oh well, always next time, hope ya have a good trip mate and catch a coupla thumping reds for us. Have a good one!!!

I've had some success live baiting for Mackies. Quite often the bronzies move in first though. I've found that spanish flag (stripies) are the best bait to throw out on a balloon rig while we're bottom bashing.
