A wheelbarrow full of wahoo
Submitted by soupster51 on Mon, 2012-01-09 14:43
I went out yesterday to get some wahoo with a mate. What a morning session it turned out to be. Lines out at 0630, six wahoo by 0730 and fifteen by 1200. Home by 1pm, gave some fish the local families out the front of my house, saved some for the local pohnpei staff that work in the compound, gave a couple to a mate who runs a restaurant (and is struggling financially) and froze the rest. My best wahoo day ever. Highlight was seeing a wahoo launch itself 10 feet out of the water as it missed the lure only 30 feet behind the boat. Awesome!!!!!!!

Esky
The esky was too heavy to carry from the boat to the house. So we emptied it into the wheelbarrow and then put them back on ice after a short trip up the hill. Not a bad problem to have.
