nice fish to blood the new Rob Allen with.... went 65cms - taken locally out from gero in 7m... also bagged a nice 55cm baldie and mate shot a absolute troutasaurus rex that went 75cms.. also bagged our 12 crays so a beaut day free diving for us!

nice seafood bonanza you've got yourself there Poddy. Were the crays in 7m too or do you chase them shallower? Pretty awesome little stretch of coast you've got there with the northern/southern species mixing together.

crays n trout
brad the water aint too bad mate... not quite the boardies water we get up north this time of year but very comfortable in a 3m... tim the majority of crays came from 10m on a big ledge... couple in a touch shallower... suprising how hard they where to find this time... quite a bit of hunting but worth the effort.... the big trout also came from 9-10ish will post pic of him tomorrow as at work now...

arrrrrgh funny man Adz... why u would move to gero from exxie is beyond blue but like u said its a almost... better than some places - got a spot marked from few weeks back gettin crays seen 2 thumper trout in 12m.... hrrm cant wait to take rob there for a look! need few more patches of good weather tho.... i can feel another abrolhos trip or 3 coming on! may need some spare spears

mate i rekon i could get ya in a flash.... its carbon copy of the montes - well not exact but the diving fishing ect oppotunitys are similar! different types but u get my drift... this 65cm trout here would probably be left alone ;) wait for the big horse that ive seen there.... when i worked at beacon few seasons back mate skipper shot at a trout that was over 10kg - we know that cause our biggest that arvo was 8.2! freakin devil fish bro
