Bouttime and I are heading out to the Islands tomorrow, hopefully should have some good fishing pics and a story to go with.

Got some awesome footage the other day of bouttime hooked up to a 18kg mack on 8kg line on a little spheros 6000 or 8000, did the reel sing or what!!!! Got some cracking photos too.

headed out today to dir bank

brough on board was 2 dhuies one was 7kg the other 11kg, 2 baldys biggest being round 4kg, couple of queenies black ass and skippy to top it off.

saw a birds working a bait ball with tuna jumping trolled it but with no sucsess.

loads of coral spawn around too

oh and i dropped a massive kg at the boat NOT HAPPY would of been a pb too

Hey street may have seen you out there today.
We had crap fishing, dropped a couple of very good fish, lost loads of rigs on snaggs. we were fishing around pots, and there were fish showing but they just didn't want to know. got a couple of black ass.

Same as us out the coral lumps loads of fish on sounder they were just all at church sunday didn't want no us,only got nnice size yellowtail king,nice size pinky and hooked up few bluefin tuna sounds like you had very good day street goodwork.

for got to mention, my dad caught a cuttlefish aswell about 50cm long, threw it back.

yeah 6 hrs after the moon rise it fired and as quick as it started it ended lucky enough to not drop much, well no big fish.

i think we did well today cause we took my mates dad out and its been a long time since he fished!

new fisherman did well to big dhuie and a big baldie.

Yea street, we went oceanreef north and south, mindarie, two rocks and up to yanchep.

We went to loads of our spots and caught bugger all, i guess thats fishing though.

Sunday sucked in a good way and a bad way! We ended up with 2 red emp, 1 dolphinfish (released one, had dozens swimming under the boat), 1 spangled emp, 1 rosy jobfish, 5 raised marlin, 4 hooked up marlin - 2 of those not hooked up well - 2 very well hooked up marlin, 1 of those marlin being lost to gear failure - drag packed up on a 35-40kg black (NOT HAPPY) and the second one almost getting spooled after throwing an inadequately armed rod/lure in the water and losing 400m of 65lb braid at 8kg drag pressure in 2-3 minutes to an estimated 80-100kg black that went airborne after hook up. I am one very frustrated angler!!! YOU WILL BE MINE SOON MR MARLIN, GRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

At least you're doing it while I dream of doing it while sitting behind my desk. Can't wait until you show me how in July.
