Submitted by gav077 on Thu, 2009-08-13 21:19
Hey guys, I was just wondering if theres any spots to try jigging for sambos in the epirb exempt area as i cant afford one. Any info would be greatly appreciated because I haven't caught a big one yet and am very anxious.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

If you have several Samsons
If you have several Samsons race up at once in clear shallow water then light up to attack, do not soil your trousers. :) Shallow water fish are awesome. They can only go one way, and its not down :)

Money
Instead of spending money on fuel to go chasing sambos wouldn't it be better spent buying an epirb that may save your life while chasing sambos, only my opinion

Fuel only costs about 30
Fuel only costs about 30 dollars to fill up, and that generally lasts about 2-3 months. I wish I could afford to save and buy an epirb but things are very tight at the moment. I'm thinking of putting one on layby if I can find somewhere that will be willing to let me pay it off over an extended period, i.e. 8-12 months because I can only afford a little each fortnight
