Round 15 thread was getting far too hard to follow, 387 posts, must be a record with all the haters sniping. But, For once in our lives, I can see that most Freo supporters are going to be on the pies side this weekend. Normally it would be a bitter sweet moment when the Pies and egirls play, but this weekend I will be, well not quite jumping up an down cheering, but hoping the Pies can get the job done this time.

The way we played last night has left me scratching my head over our first eight or so games....or was it Clarko's master plan? Haha.
Cant wait for the Eagles game. Knock them off there and things would be looking bloody rosy. I'll be there with bells and whistles on.

Whilst other sides like Pies and Freo were tryin the old sprint start in a long distance race. We know what it takes, its a season long campaign. Still not at our best. No need to play like we have in the last 2 games, but Clarko just wanted to send a reminder to the rest. Our best is UNBEATABLE, No1 defensive and attacking side atm

Those umpires from the Eagles game need to be suspended. Some of those decisions were just made up on the spot, the reviews and non reviews were farcical. Whichever one gave Lecca HTB needs to lose his job, probably the same one that didn't pay NicNat's HTB after the Collingwood player took on 2 players, was tackled and just dropped the ball

Great to see some top 6 teams
Great to see some top 6 teams playing other good quality teams at this stage of the comp.
It's a good indication of where teams are & what they have to do to prepare for the finals.
I agree that the Hawks are still the team to beat & if a team does it, they will go into the finals with a big confidence boost.

Agree, and will be interesting to see what Simpson has installed for Clarko and vise versa. But gettin a floggin like the last 2 teams that 'Pride Themselves on Defence' leaves permanent scarring. 'September Stepping Stones' they are, Gone Wrongmire and Lost Cryon and their players will have Brown and Gold nightmares for the rest of the year lol

I'm confident that fremantle will come with great contest. still a lot to improve on, but some good signs there last night. had we kicked straighter in the last quarter it would have been a much much larger margin.

My choice to replace ballas
My choice to replace ballas is crozier. He is afl standard. very skilled and a great finisher. perhaps doesn't cover the same territory as ballas but his defensive pressure us very good and a great kick for goal either set shot or in play.
regarding richmond... we'll be competitive. will it be good enough? I hope so. saw some good signs on saturday. taberner running and covering ground and holding marks. His strength is his running ability. I hope he runs his opponent all around the mcg.
I like our chances against richmond more than the eagles against sydney. no one down back.....
