Possible deckie spot this weekend

HEy guys thinking of going out in the Cockburn Sound this Saturday for a bit of a fish if anyone's interested. Only thing is I'm pretty bloody new at the whole boating thing so expect a screwup or two (only taken it out like 4 times). I'll be heading out from Woody's boat ramps at about 7-ish aiming for some skippy, maybe whiting but DEFINATELY want to try some squidding (never done it before) and if the weather holds Might go behind Garden Island and try for something bigger.

I know very few spots but have a couple I've heard of, any extra info bought along would be great (not gonna steal spots so don't worry - the fish aren't worth it).

Obviously I'm fairly new so I'm almost looking for a mentor to learn off and I won't ask for any fuel money or help cleaning the boat because I can almost gaurentee that there'll be a bit of screwing around when it comes to launch/retrieving and anchor/drifting.

BYO tackle and food/drink obviously (I really have no idea what to write in a deckie invitation haha)

Boat's a 5.1m half cabin chivers fibreglass with a 97 115HP Johnson.
