hey there finally after many bustoffs I have landed a decent shark from the local 4x4 beach.  caught a heap of scalies the night before a beach fishing trip, thought they were gonna do the trick but strangely only pickers were taking the scalies this night. We paddled the baits out for last drop, (yeah with the canoe) this time loaded up with the usual scalies, but one with a whole squid on a snelled wire trace. another 45 mins passed with nothing so started packin up all the gear and winding in the rods, when the last rod, with the squid went off!  25 mins later and this little bronzie was on the tray. gave 4-5 solid runs this time the favourable way down the beach away from the nasty jettys.
