WC been a lot of talk about about the 5 day break but no excuses facing a depleted swans at home .. Looks as though former weagle Sinclair will be doing the honours in swans ruck and I see Jetta has been given the flick for the WC .. still flippy floppy on my tip

Tough game
Scrappy, but that was down to pressure. Poor kicking looked like sinking us two weeks in a row. McLovin was useful up forward, centres ran hard, but so many good loving movements forward turned over by simple skill errors. Regardless of what any of you say, JD was missed, that big frame and big engine does a lot of work around the ground even if it tends to fall apart in bit in front of goals. People used to rave about how much running N Reiwoldt did for the Saints as a big man, I reckon J Kennedy does at least as much for the Eagles, and as a full-forward, not half-forward.

I am not get ahead of my self. A really good couple of wins after the team started the season as laughing stock. Deservedly so. Last week's win meant nothing until backing it up with a competitive performance. And for all but about 5 minutes late in the second quarter, and the first couple of minutes in the last, they were really good.
Next week they have a desperate north melbourne at domain. After what looked like another 0 - 10 start to the season, we could be heading into the derby 3 - 2??? Who would have thunk that 2 weeks ago?

As a nuetral innocent bystander i have to agree with the folks talking about the Eagles travelling and winning especially at the G....
You can talk history all you like and go back to the 90's or you can talk about the now and its becoming a gorilla on the back of this team, 1-5 last year in Melb i think it was so already notching up the Nth Melb win was important but going forward if they loose their games at the G then we all know how much confidence affects teams on big occasions... Think Bulldogs last year.....
I'm looking forward to the derby already, Freo will come in underdogs and WC will want to ensure thats one they dont loose and start going down that road again....
